Things don't just happen. No matter how badly you want your knight in shining armor to come sweep you off your feet, no matter how badly you want him to like you, no matter how badly you want all of your dreams to come true all on their own as romantic music plays in the background creating the perfect ending to your perfect story, things like that don't just happen. You have to make them happen for yourself. If you spend your whole life waiting for things to happen to you, you'll just end up disappointed and heartbroken. This is advice I should have taken a long time ago, and I'm done. I'm done waiting for that day that may or may not ever come, because I can make things happen for myself. I have to go for it.
