OH man, hell yeah we have!!! I love that show with my whole entire being. I remember the original Queer Eye for the Straight Guy being one of my first exposures to queer people in media, and the only gay media that was Parent-Approved, so this revival has been like reliving all those wonderful feelings but 100 times better????? Also I love them all. I hope someday we reach a point in society where “which queer eye guy are you” is on the same level as “which Sex and the City character are you” hahahaha(For the record, I’m pretty sure I’m Bobby) (And Baby is Tan)

i am trying to work on the sleep thing. right now it’s all over the place, i keep myself awake long enough with distractions to avoid being left alone with my thoughts & then go to bed when i’m exhausted enough that i’ll pass out without being trapped in my head and getting worse. figuring out a better way to sleep is going to be very hard. i might have to try sleeping pills, i just need to go to sleep immediately when i lie down or else i will end up in a far, far worse state.

and way too much detail i mean, the Vesper of that headcanon is definitely a mess. growing up w/her parents and their friends all basically superheroes, and she’s essentially a princess, probably a bit spoiled being the firstborn and the beginning of their parents finally knowing some peace after so much turmoil - she’s never had to be genuinely responsible a day in her life

i think she grew up with so many expectations on her head that she rebelled from day one and basically actively refused to be anything bc she felt like everybody expected her to be everything, being the first born De Rolo. both her parents love her even though she’s difficult and stubborn and causes more problems than they can solve, but i think she doesn’t have a great relationship with her father. i think the reason Vex loves her so much is the same reason Percy struggles: she’s just like him

but that’s exactly what she needed and why she’s the only one who can do what she has to do: that darkness is what let Vax in

i would suggest that lucio go in between moira and ana since he does bulk heal with his healing aura and buffs via his speed boost?

Lucio’s healing aura isn’t a bulk heal - it’s a trickle and doesn’t sustain your team very significantly when it’s boosted, while Ana’s primary fire is significant and can keep a team alive with consistent fire. Lucio’s really good at peeling and topping off/ferrying allies, which is primarily due to his speed boost which is his primary function vs. healing. That’s why he’s considered an off-healer and Ana is considered a main healer! Granted, Ana’s seen better days, but her healing output is still significant.

Thank you for putting your thoughts about Brigitte into words! There's a whole thought experiment going on reddit about how everyone would complain if Pharah was released today cause her abilities can be seen as OP. But it really has been the age of ability denial, especially with the buffs to Sombra and Mei (ur frozen forever). There was one day that I could not drop a beat for the life of me cause it kept getting cancelled. :(

Yeah, absolutely! If Brigitte was released in a vacuum, maybe the story would be different. But right now there are a lot of issues that are stacking on top of each other setting her up for Maximum Brigitte-ness.

-> Improved Mei/Sombra denial-> Reinhardt’s desperate need of improvement (as well as Torb and Symm but primarily Rein in terms of bugs and the stun-through-shield, interrupt-charge BS)-> Doomfist’s continuous bug improvement, making his stuns and knockback more consistent and potent-> Nerfs/changes to other support heroes (small nerf to zenyatta, Lucio changes paired with Sombra’s new complete Lucio shutdown, Mercy’s changes)-> Nerfs to Tracer & Genji

The new heroes are intriguing to look at in terms of how we see this going on:

Ana (not a huge contributor to this at low levels and doesn’t have pickrate in high levels, but sleep dart could be considered a significant cancellation when done just right, + healing denial)Sombra (significant ability/ult denial + healing denial)Orisa (graviton pulls are about it for Orisa, though her fortify is... so good... weep)Doomfist (knockbacks/stun city)Moira (none of the above, but opens a can of worms with lock-on + large range damage orb that I won’t go into)Brigitte (knockback/stun city + dps dampening galore + healing)
