Some of my favourite old school Portland weirdos, much missed but still greatly appreciated. Found myself greatly inspired by the performance and their history, throwing weird trance events all over Portland for years. Would like to get something like that going on again. Such a wonderful evening, with so many great performances, with accompanying films curated by @churchoffilm, my other favourite Portland cultural institution. Feat a more personal-seeming solo performance from white gourd, avant outsider folk from Idaho Joe Windslow, year of the rat free jazz/garage punk performance from The Tenses trio, dreamy ambient rock from The Lavender Flu, culminating with an epic performance from trance warriors and psychic sound staples Million Brazilians.
