It was a surprise to many to hear his ex wife and he were in good relations still. Just because they didn’t work together anymore didn’t mean they were going to turn into enemies. They did try to save the marriage, but once it wasn’t working anymore for the sake of their mental states and their kids the couple finally separated. “I know you guys still talk, just wasn’t aware how much or to what extent.”he said with a small smirk, they never really spoke of who they keep in touch with still but it was nice to know Elena was there for Susan still. “Don’t know what to tell you about it... kids are a blessing but can also be quite a pain in the ass.”Vito said with a laugh. “It doesn’t matter how old they are, the’re always your little children and you always worry, try to make things better. And you’re still young, Elena, kids will come.”he told her with a smile and a nod. “You, boring? That’s not the word i’d use to describe you.”he said chuckling. “I’m very glad to be talking to you, too. As for how i’ve been... surprisingly well. Just seeing the kids when they’re in town, and teaching at the military academy. Also trying this thing - as in going out more. Which isn’t the easiest thing to do at my age.”Vito pointed out smirking. As Elena then suggested they ditch the speed dating thing and leave, he looked around them to other tables and back at her, giving her a firm nod. “Yes, please, lets get the hell out of here right now.”he said and stood up, grabbed his jacket and glanced at her. “You’ve got any ideas on where we could go? What do you feel like doing? Food, drinks?”he asked curiously.

Felicity tried to not think of the person sitting beside her. Her heart was pounding she was sure it was louder than the movie they were watching. Did they also hear it? Was she being overly paranoid? Her roommate's partner sat beside her, with her and a few others passed out on the couch only a few feet away from them. Those still awake were barely with how much was in their systems.

Drinking too much at once made many of them woozy and soon sleepy. Not her though, but it might have something to do with the hand that was touching her thigh. A move she was familiar with. It was a signal to keep quiet. Looking over she looked at everyone before gulping. What were they doing? Did they know who they were touching? It was her, not their girlfriend. Still, she didn't push away their touch, instead shivering and waiting to see what else would happen. Would they go any further or finally look at her? Would they even stop then?

"Yeah?" The compliment thrown her way seemed genuine, not like the forced, empty ones her father and his other employees would throw at her. Not that she blamed them, entirely. She was the boss's daughter, after all. Flattery was top priority, to keep daddy happy, Daniela did it, too. This time, however, felt real. And she liked that. "Thanks, Mallory, I appreciate that. And, I think so, too," she ended with a little wink and a laugh. "I definitely know how to look pretty for the camera, ever since I was little. Daddy made sure of that," the mention of him earning a roll of the eyes from the brunette, heaving out a light sigh as her attention went to the post, sending it on its way for public viewing. Flashing her eyes towards the other, her smile widened, "Don't sell yourself short, your photos are cute, too. And yes, I saw them, I followed you back so of course I did. I liked the cooking video you did the other day? Very cute. Might try it myself one day." It was just more of a personal account than Daniela's, every post having a purpose, and mainly for exposure for her father's business. At the mention of him, she shook her head, "If it gives him attention, he'll love it, no need to worry about him when it comes to this." A thought struck her, smiling wide, "Hey, take a picture with me? I can post it and tag you, it'd get you some followers and honestly? You look way too amazing not to put out there. Please?"

cleona was far more calculated than anyone’s given her credit to be . however , she preferred it that way . the look on someone’s face when it finally clicks it was her all along . even more so when they realize what family empire she came from . being a girl in the crime industry had it’s pluses despite the enormous pile of negatives . the best part was people overlooked a beautiful girl waltz into a place they shouldn’t be . . . even in her own home , the dumb act had gotten her far . and in this case , it’s somehow gotten her far too close to a rival crime boss , not that he knew she was his rival , but she hoped he’d pick up on it sooner or later .

just under an hour ago , the woman was wrapped up in viktor’s arms . their bodies tangled in a web of sheets and themselves . they both said they had some business to handle which was nothing out of the ordinary . however , his seems far more serious despite her being aware of what was supposed to do down . the man tucked a revolver in his waistband before heading out . however , through her connects , cleona already knew his people were supposed to go through with a routine drug deal with hers . it was already alarming that he seemed to be going to do it himself . it was rare for a crime boss go to an exchange themselves once a relationship was established . . . that was unless something was wrong . when he assumed she was asleep , cleo overheard an intense conversation he had . from what she gather , he was planning on killing a man who betrayed him during what was supposed to be a routine drug deal . so unless he had more than one meeting to attend , he was planning killing one of hers and stealing the drugs supplied which was a no-no . since cleo knew exactly who he was meeting up with , she decided to tag along . mostly to make sure the deal with smoothly .

the heiress to a crime empire waited until her lover and one of her subordinates were face to face . she kept an eye on the other , allowing them to talk a bit before she decided to make her presence known . cleo wanted to watch his reaction ( or lack thereof ) to her secret status . the woman never lied to him , however , she kept some important details to herself . “ y’know , i came hoping i wouldn’t have to see you , “ she spoke from the shadows . “ i don’t like when my plans are ruins and even more so when someone tries to surprise me . . . so to cut the shit with you , i’m curious as to why you’re here instead of one of your errand boys . . . is there a problem you’d like to discuss ? ‘cause i’d really hope you weren’t dumb enough to bring a gun to what’s supposed to be a neutral meeting . you left yours in the car , right ? “ || @thelcvewitch​​​

as the dancer entered the room, there was an immediate smirk playing on her lips. her body swayed in time with the music, although it was much quieter in here. “well, well- look who’s back for more,” she commented idly, one hand moving to the emerald green lace that adorned her, adjusting it to continue to fit her in all the right places. despite her usual demanor, this was a genuine smile to see the other. “decided to spend tonight with little ol’ me?”
