for the rockers; oh, Nirvana. i'll be the first to admit that this entire piece was a hate/love affair, i couldn't even count the times i had to redo chris's (left) nose alone, much less the pains of getting kurt's blonde hair down, plus dave's eyes always being mismatched by contrast. not to even mention letters- i despise letterwork.

today, it is more love than hate, and because of this piece i landed both a tattoo design and a paid family portrait.

the lead dream. like the lead balloon, it can never fly. but the balloon will also never escape the atmosphere for it too has its limits- no, it will go as it can and slowly fall back to it's demise, remembered for how high it achieved.

but its lead twin, it will sink. it will go as far as it can until it hits the depths below. the lead balloon will travel a greater distance and stay forevermore at its destination. and it will be remembered for nothing.

   i am my own lead dream, the unfinished work, the do-over, the one not remembered.

   ensnared the worlds of dogs, rowing, and dreams- this is a story of a lost girl caught between a million told through little more than doodles, photos, and lyrics.
