She’s here! 😩😭

I needed a minute to recoup after watching the live unveiling of Aaliyah’s wax figure. I went through so many emotions in such a short amount of time. I saw the VIBE photo that leaked first and have to admit, I was disappointed with what I saw 😔 But after watching the live and seeing so many close up shots and various different angles, I can honestly say I feel a lot better 💕 Aaliyah was perfection and it’s incredibly hard to replicate that but @tussaudsvegas came pretty damn close. The details are on point (down to her tattoos) and her side profile left me shook and an emotional wreck 🥺

Thanks to @aaliyahapp for the live streaming and including so many of us in this special experience. I got incredibly emotional hearing Aaliyah’s music playing and seeing her wax figure unveiled with Rashad right by her side. Seeing him laughing and smiling in this moment is monumental and made my heart swell with love and pride ♥️

Congrats to the fans who won access to the VIP event and got to be up close and personal with some of the people nearest and dearest to our beloved LiLi (I see you reppin’ @rated_1zzy, @eymexy and @_whoisshe!) What a moment and I can’t wait to see all the pics you’ve taken (Please feel free to tag me in them or DM me)

Biggest of thanks to @radmax6 and the beautiful Diane Haughton for always going above and beyond to protect, cement and celebrate their BabyGirls legacy. You continue to make her proud. I’m super excited that I’ll be able to visit @tussaudsvegas in October and finally see her for myself! 😭♥️

Tried my best to get screenshots of Aaliyah’s tattoos via @aaliyahapp’s live. The ‘A’ tattoo is dainty and featured on her left wrist. Hard to take pics of it or see it in its entirety because of how her hand is placed but if you look close enough, you can see enough of it to know that it’s there. I can’t wait to bust out my Nikon’s zoom when I go to visit to get a closer look at it 😩 The ‘Egyptian Ankh’ stands prominent on her inner right wrist and the ‘Dove’ tattoo she got in remembrance of her grandmother (though it is slightly different to what her original tattoo looked like, it’s still pretty close) is proudly displayed on her lower back. Not sure about the music note that she had on her ankle since it’s covered but lets just say it’s there 👀

I am in awe of the intricate details and the more I look at photos and videos from the event, the more I fall in love with what @tussaudsvegas and @radmax6 accomplished in creating BG’s wax figure and commemorating not only an iconic and influential artist, but a beautiful and luminous spirit 🙏🏻🕊 #RIPAaliyah #WeLoveYou #TheLegacyContinues #GodBlessTheHaughtons
