What Should I ‘Major’ In Spread - from October 15, 2016

Cards 1-3 What talents do I possess? The King of Wands is a mature, passionate, creative man of action. He also represents Dave, so it could indicate Dave’s support for what I do or will do, and he is very supportive - bless! It could also indicate that I’m courageous (sometimes), honest, friendly (again, sometimes), charming (hee, hee), wise and sympathetic. Aces signify beginnings and Swords are intellectual, honest and logical. So, we’ve got new ideas and clarity here, which means that the auld brain will start to kick in. Lastly, the Ten of Swords rears it’s not so pleasant head. This doesn’t bode too well as a talent, does it? Self-honesty, surrender to the inevitable, and I’m left wondering where and how this relates to my jewellery making, the famous crystal healing course, or even my ‘proper’ job as a carer? Not good, if my back is in bits and I’m at rock bottom. That said, it is a new deck and I probably didn’t shuffle it as well as I should have!!! Onwards and upwards, I suppose...

Card 4 - What talent should I most focus on. Nine of Swords - well, my dears, this ain’t one I’m ‘feeling’ either. Nightmares...really??? Me causing them or having them :) Thankfully, they are few and far between and the health is pretty good, so that cancels that notion. However, the confidence is lacking in some areas and I do doubt myself at times, but who doesn’t?! I do know I have to give myself a good kick in the ass at times but I should be happy that I continue to love and learn tarot and my interpretations are slowly but surely getting a bit better, my jewellery designs must be good, because people (wonderful people, so they are) are actually buying it (although my marketing skills are pretty crap, because I’m too lazy!!), so I think I need to focus on self esteem - but is that a talent?

Card 5 - What strengths do I possess to pursue my talents as a career? The Emperor - now we’re talking!!! Obviously, my shuffling has improved! Structure and organisation, creative energy, passion - all strengths I possess, not often and at varying degrees, but I possess them nonetheless. Really, really need more self discipline going on here and manage my time more effectively. I take too much on at times and the best laid plans sometimes go awry...

Card 6 - What challenges or obstacles will I face? Three of Cups. What? Too much partying? Nope. No obstacle or challenge there unless, of course, I should be partying more, much, much more...Obviously, the lack thereof is the challenge and I should indulge in festivities more often...

Card 7 - What direction can I take to make the best use of my full potential? Ten of Cups - omg, I am SO good at shuffling now. I mean, WOWSER!!! Done it! Have the wonderful family and home life and we are mainly harmonious and balanced but sometimes just a bit crazy and unhinged.
