thelessertarget replied to your post:Hello lovelies! Today has been very busy, but I’m...
Are you ready for me to torture you?
I was born ready.
"You have been a bad boy," the bearded Vulcan said as he shoved Kirk into the bulkhead. He was so different than his captain, and as fascinating as those differences were they were often frustrating and annoying. ((I couldn't resist. Regular Spock is of course horrified.))
Jim couldn't help it, he gasped as he was pinned against the bulkhead, eyes widening in shock. His Spock? Not so much of a shock if he were to do something like this, but this Spock? It'd be a lie to say a sliver of fear didn't run through him. "...What'd I do?" Depending on what it was, he might actually apologize.
Dancing with the Devil
Jim stood next to Scotty as his fingers flew over the control panel. He had wanted to go down to the planet with Spock but of course the Vulcan had insisted this time he stayed on board. It was too dangerous, something could go wrong and of course, they couldn't lose the Captain. His gaze flicked to the panel, watching the readouts fluctuate wildly. "C'mon." He muttered under his breath, ignoring the look Scotty gave him.
Things had been going fine, for the most part, it had been dangerous but not anything too worrying until they'd tried to beam Spock back. That's when the trouble had started. Scotty tried to get a lock on Spock, had even managed it but had been unable to materialize him on the pad. Jim nervously licked his bottom lip while he watched the pad for any sign the other man was finally coming through. Still nothing.
"You can't lose him, Scotty."
"I know, Captain, I'm not."
The familiar shimmer started on the pad and Jim took a step closer, holding his breath as a crumpled form materialized finally. Letting out a breath he didn't even know he was holding, he smile. "Spock!" He started for the other man but then stopped, staring. This wasn't Spock. "Who are you?" The figure stood up and Jim's eyes widened. He looked like Spock except...except for the beard and the uniform. Oh shit.

"Is that supposed to scare me?"
Khan studied the Vulcan, trying to figure him out. This wasn't the same one that had been by Kirk's side, the one that had tried to kill him. This one was a killer, he could see the familiar look in his eyes. "No, not scare you but warn you. I'm not sure what you're used to but I'm not like anything you've run into before."

"Can I help you Spock?" He glanced up fro his present experiment, hazel eyes reflecting the gold from his mask brilliantly showing off anger and frustration Not that his tone didn't imply it very well.
How wonderful for you. I am Spock. *scans him with tricorder* You seem to think you are important.
((sobs because there are no mirror Spock gifs))
Compared to some.
[He takes a moment to look over the piece of technology and lifts an eyebrow.]
I doubt your trinkets have come across ones of my kind.
*Spock’s eyebrow arches* I have used my tricorder to scan over sixty lifeforms in the past solar year. Twenty of those were sentient humanoid life. You appear to be in the latter category. I am assuming that you are sentient.
Oh, very good, bravo. No, I am not an illusion-- for now.
"Hello, Captain. Enjoying your day?" Spock asked, looking at the captain of the other Enterprise. He was soft. Not at all like his captain.
[Jim lifts his gaze cautiously, looking the man over. Likewise, this wasn't his Spock. While he may maintain logic, it's less helpful logic and more... 'It would be logical to remove you from existence' logic.
In short, Jim doesn't trust him.]
Well enough. Yourself?
