The Library of Congress is the national library of the United States and the largest library in the world, located in Washington, D.C. This library established on April 24, 1800, it's the largest library in both shelf space and number of books. The Library of Congress is the main research center of the U.S. Congress and the home of the U.S. Copyright Office. This library was designed and constructed by the architects John L. Smithmeyer & Paul J. Pelz.

I went to the Library of Congress a few weeks ago and I realized I never really posted my pictures. I took a bunch but this is one of my favorites. They were showcasing some of Thomas Jeffersons library and this is his copy of 'Il Principe' by Machiavelli.
