Inktober day 27: Thunder . Today’s prompt reminded me of a song I’ve loved for a long time (no not the Imagine Dragons song), and I wanted to try to capture the image described. I’ve tried to draw The Lightning Strike by Snow Patrol a few times before and I can never create something as beautiful as the words themselves (though I have hidden a few lines in the dark corners of today’s drawing). There’s a haunting serene-ness to the way the singer describes their fellow watching the storm and I so want to be able to hold that image in my hands and stare at it forever.
