For a slight few seconds as he sees her fall backwards, he lets his worry shine through. His lips part a bit, and he's quick to move to see if she's alright. And as soon as he understands that she's in fact alright, he relaxes more.
"That would be unfair of me, wouldn't it?" He says as he sits down on the mat beside her. He places the training saber upon the floor, and pulls one leg up so he can lean his arm upon it as he is watching her. Upon his lips a small smile resides.
~~~~
She watched him sit down next to him, admiring how he looked relaxed, when the war isn’t lingering in his mind like always.
“I’d say you take the win.” She smiles at him “So what do you want?” She shifts until she sitting up, moving closer to him “I did say you can have whatever you want.” Charlotte then reached up to trail her fingers along the back of his head “You know.. I’m proud of you for being a Master.” She admits “Though I always did like the braid.” She then hums softly “Do you remember star gazing back in Naboo? I remember Ani was just a child..”
☽ ━ TEELA didn’t know the reason why there was such a strong pull to Tatooine. She just remembered how fast she had to ditch the last twenty-something planets to keep herself out of the Empire’s grasp. It wasn’t like she was a Jedi anymore, she left before she could even be a Jedi Sentential officially. Oh the Padawan days, she thought bitterly. And the days where I had to train until I tasted sweat and iron. For what? To be a part of a slaughtered group?
“What’s the saying?” she murmured into her flask while she sat outside, watching the sun radiate against the sand. “Let bygones be bygones?”
She hadn’t dared to reach out to anyone in the Force, she knew it was just plain kriffin’ stupid. But if she said she hadn’t missed the Jedi, she’d be lying. They were her family. As she watched others crowd the market space, a memory echoed. Not a memory of her Jedi days, but something else. What was it?
But before she could pin it down, she felt The Force. Her hand went to her blaster instinctively, wishing it was her lightsaber. But she shoved it in a box, hidden away on this planet. Her eyes widened at the sight of who it was. It couldn’t be. He should be dead.
“There’s only room for the two of us here,” Teela warned. Her genuine surprise was now hidden in fake malice. “I called dibs on this place.”
Obi-Wan & Margaery
[Continued From Here with @thelightsabcr ]
“I suppose that was a more forward introduction then I intended.”
Still, Margaery couldn’t help but grin. And she’d taken the moments of his confusion to properly admire the Jedi in all his glory. But she had come looking for him for a reason, though she now made a mental note to chide Willas for not warning her. This did explain why Oberyn had been chuckling on the conference call however.
She curtsied and bowed her head, completely aware of the advantages and limitations of a gown with a plunging neckline that ended barely above her navel. That had always been a tactical decision to disorient, though here that wasn’t the intend.
“My name is Margaery Tyrell. I’ve come to you, General Kenobi, to quietly represent my family. Due to the location of my home world, Highgarden, we’ve been large unaffected by the war. And we’ve remained independent of it, for the most part. That’s not new-our Solar System has always been self sustaining. The Reach. My family has in one way or other been the Lord Protectors for many generations now.”
“However, I’m also aware of the impact of war,” Margaery sighed and her expression flashed true emotions then. Sadness. Sincerity. “I have...a strong desire to assist those affected by the war. Those who’ve lost their homes or struggle to get by because their resources have been depleted or otherwise affected. Displaced. Separated from their families.”
“As much as my family doesn’t want to get involved in this conflict-I cannot do nothing while people suffer. Especially the sheer number of non combatants or civilians who may have been caught up in all of this. The Reach has an abundance of resources. We would like to share them. And we can probably take a number of refugees in, though that will require a little more logistics.”
“My contacts seemed to indicate you are a man who understands when one needs to be flashy, and when once needs to be nuances,” Margaery concluded as she set a hand on her hip to look at him, “So I ask your help figuring out whom I need to communicate with to make all of this happen. Because of The Reach’s isolation, we don’t have any trusted contacts in the Republic. And frankly we don’t know if we want this to follow any political agenda. But as I understand, one of the Jedi tenants is the preservation of life. That is...another reason I’ve sought you out as a pose to a senator on either side.”
Jasmine had a special type of power when it came to men. She could easily pick a liar out of a lineup. Even though they have just recently met, there was something that just felt off about him. Lies that just weren’t making sense to his story. She may have been a trapped princess, but she still was quite aware of the people that lived in her kingdom.
Brining her legs to her chest, her arms wrapped around her knees just before her fingers drummed against her arms. Quirking a brow in frustration, she glared at him with a disappointing look, waiting for the actual truth.
When the truth was finally revealed, she let out a sigh. Deep down, she knew he was merely a visitor from a kingdoms she’s never visited and not just one of her people. Although she could accept his apology, she was still a little irritated. “I knew it! Why did you lie to me?!” Jasmine was solely focused on his lies and didn’t pay any attention to the introduction of his name.
Is it though?
Starter for @thelightsabcr:
Haja was not a completely good individual nor was he entirely bad. Times were bleak and the planet he lived on it was survive or die that was just the way it is. True some could say that he was completely disrespecting the Jedi but he would say hey, what had the Jedi done for him lately? Not much. But he also liked credits. So true he was a little bit selfish. Though meeting an actual Jedi that changed everything. So after he had decided to help, and shot the bounty hunter following Obi- Wan and Leia, he took a breath and gave him some information.
“You Jedi’s zip around so fast, I need to work on my stamina. I almost missed you. Do you understand what I’m saying in terms of safe passage?”
Variety Among The Stars || Sabé & Obi-Wan
The throne of Naboo had a new Queen, but that didn't change anything to Sabé. She was still Padme's second, her bodyguard, her friend, right hand woman, anything the woman could ask of her to be. And so when Padme'd asked for her to become a slave liberator, tasking her also with finding Shmi Skywalker, Sabé hadn't hesitated.
Such a task had proven quite taxing for just one woman despite the funds and means at her disposal to inch Padme's dream of a galaxy free of slavery closer to becoming a reality. Some of Sabé's methods didn't help– she bought most of the people being sold as slaves, some of them she freed forcefully. It wasn't long before it became clear for those in the business that she planned on freeing them.
Sabé'd lost a few to the slavers' multiple attempts to take back what they believed to be theirs. But she couldn't and wouldn't give up. She would get them back.
But she wasn't foolish enough to believe she could do it alone.
Thankfully, Padme so happened to be one of the few people in the galaxy who knew the locations of very specific Jedi and, by virtue of being her right hand woman, so did Sabé.
She was an uncharacteristic sight even to herself. Her usually red to yellow degradete gown and cloak had been replaced by dark, worn clothing, more fitting for the current situation, in an attempt to attract as little attention as possible. He, on the other hand, stood out like a sore thumb. But Jedi often did.
"You are no easy man to find, Master Kenobi," Sabé spoke up to get his attention. Despite her soft tone, the look in her eyes was one of collected tiredness, and far too hardened for her age. She might resemble Padme to an unsettling level for two people that weren't at all related, but Sabé was well aware she lacked her warmth in the way she looked at people. "I'm relieved to have finally found you."
❛ hey … it’s okay now. you’re safe here. ❜ - (for Satine, if you want).
It felt like some nightmare, some horrible dream that she would wake from soon. The sights and sounds around her, she wanted to forget it. She wanted it all to go away, except...the voice that came to her ears suddenly seemed to calm her, relax every muscle, strangely she thought. Then again, was it really that strange? No, not when it was him speaking to her, she opened her eyes and looked up at those shining baby blues and sighed.
Trying everything within her to stop the trembling that racked her body, because deep down she knew he was right, he had and would make sure of that. Satine tried to take a deep breath in and let go of the fear but it was easier said then done, she wasn't him. She wasn't a Jedi, she couldn't just let it all go but oh stars did she want to.
"Easy for you to say." She tried to keep that usual bite to her tone but it wavered and no matter how hard she tried to cover it, she knew he'd heard it and slightly slumped her shoulders. "Sorry." She murmured, adverting her gaze quickly, giving a gentle cough and tried to center herself, she was still, after all, a Lady. She looked around and tried to gain her bearings "Where is here...exactly?" She looked back at him, a curious expression on her features as she stared at him. She was always grappeling with the feelings that always bubbled up in her when she did so, knowing it wasn't right but...who dictated right from wrong anyway?
