do you think sam and bucky are drift compatible
I havent watched pacrim in a few years but I'd say yes
Even though they argue/bicker a lot they still always work together well and they try to look out for eachother a lot; "you good?" basically was a catchphrase in tfatws and the constant diving to save eachothers in fights (like the spiderman fight cw).
Even when theyre mad at eachother they basically glued together; Bucky joining Sam on the flagsmasher mission despite going there to confront him about the shield, and Sam sticking around for Bucky after the argument about Isaiah, the police and the therapy scene. Basically everything before the second half of ep 5 was Sam and Bucky being mad at eachother (although it was more of Buckys part) bur still sticking together and caring for eachother
The two relationships probably arent that comparable but didnt Newt and Herman have a similar "I hate you still care for you deeply and love being around you" thing going on? Because they drifted (and save the world) despite a lot of their scenes together being bickering
But yeah I think Sam and Bucky would be drift compatible and they'd be damn good, if not a little chaotic, pilots too. I also think, considering everything they've both been through, a scene of them drifting and experiencing eachothers past would be incredibly pain for both them and people watching. It would probably make their first drift kinda rocky but that doesn't necessarily mean they're not compatible.
Anyway now I want an angsty pacrim au sambucky fic of them drifting for the first time
