just another week at camp sunshine

Delilah slowly and carefully braided a pink ribbon into her long brown lock before dressing. She wears a pair of patterned short and her camp counselor shirt which bear her first name in white letters on the back. She grabbed her travel mug filled to the brim with coffee and exited the staff cabin. Her shoes slapped on the stones when she walked to the girls cabin she was in charge of, "Deer Cabin". The cabins were named after woodland animals, which was quite adorable. "Rise and shine!" She sung, opening windows to let fresh air and light into the cramped cabin. She helped the younger ones out of bed and got them ready for breakfast. She hummed to herself and went to the main office, filing some camper medical forms, until she saw someone come in. "Hi!" She beamed "You're the new counselor, correct?"
