Why yes... yes it is. haha!
The first pack I ate out of it last week was indeed blueberry, but this was indeed strawberry. ha!

He does not want a girl who trifles with Christianity. He wants a woman who is radically given to Christ. He does not want a girl who prays tepid, lukewarm prayers. He wants a woman who lives in defiance of the powers of Hell. He does not want a girl who is self-adorning with the latest fashions and trends. He wants a woman who is adorned with the inner jewelry of Christ-given holiness. He does not want a girl who dishonors and belittles her parents. He wants a woman who honors the authorities God has placed in her life and serves them with charity and gladness. He does not want a girl whose Bible is an accessory to her wardrobe. He wants a woman whose hunger and thirst is to know the Lord, and who diligently feasts upon His Word. He does not want a girl whose tongue is a deceptive weapon of selfishness. He wants a woman whose words drip with the honey of the name of Jesus…

Wow.
Slap in my face.
I so desperately desire to be this way,
but sometimes I loose focus.
Dear ones, do NOT confuse this with perfection.
The scenario may be, but the person is still human.
Not that that's any excuse to not strive to be this way.
Just know and realize that God loves you no matter where you stand.
My advice:
Just freely & simply delight in the joy & peace of Christ.
The rest will follow. :)

thelordsatisfies said: Speaking from experience here cuz I’ve had this same feeling… It’s a lie. No one is a “super-good Christian” on their own. God gives all of us different strengths and comparing to someone else is a trap that just locks you into insecurity.
I really needed all of this encouragement tonight. Thank you, ladies. You are a huge blessing to me.

Hahaha, you can customise them pretty easily. Ill probably do one later tonight and I can show you, if youd like!
That'd be great!
kekeit replied to your post: QUESTION
Our church encourages soap..Scripture- a verse that stood out to you.Observation- what was going down in that verse.Application- how do you practically apply this verse..Prayer..!!! Blessings x
SOAP is the MAIN one that I've found so far, even Googling. I'll have to give it a go.
thelordsatisfies replied to your post: QUESTION
I usually just write down the verses that stick out to me. I change up my highlighting color every few months, so usually just retreading the verses I wrote is enough to remind me of what was going on in my life and why that verse stood out.
I mean.. that's pretty much what I do now. I need something more detailed... more like a guide to help me write things. Otherwise, like I said, my mind is all over the place and I forget things.
yourservantmyrock answered your question: QUESTION
So a lot of times mine is pretty scattered also, but Ill take each verse (or section) and paraphrase it and then journal what it means to me
I don't paraphrase unless I do an in-depth exegesis study of the passage first, so that would be better for my study time, not devotional time. :)
ivebeenfoundworthy answered your question: QUESTION
I usually find a verse that sticks out and then write it out and what it implies.
I feel like this is more for when I study the Scripture, not just reading it devotionally. But that's something that I already do. I don't really know how to explain what I'm looking for. ha
timealwaysseemstomelt answered your question: QUESTION
i like to right the verse its self down first if and stick out in my reading and then i write about why its important and in the bible.
Again, this is along the lines of what I already do, but thanks for the suggestion. :)
smilingatthefuture answered: Date, passage reference, main verses that stuck out to me, what i was thinking coming into the passage, new observations, application, prayer
So pretty much the SOAP method? I'll have to try that out. I guess what I need are guidelines... like.. questions that will lead me to think deeper about the Scripture and such.
