During our church service this morning, our pastor said something that really hit me hard. If God isn’t telling us to move/do something, why do we feel as if we should move anyways? Just because God isn’t telling you to move doesn’t mean he isn’t going to do great things. Sometimes all God wants us to do is to sit still and wait on what good things He has in store for us. Have we ever stopped to think that maybe God wants us to do nothing but sit at his feet? Waiting on God to tell me to do something is something I really struggle with, but if I wait patiently and trust in the path the Lord has set for me (Jeremiah 29:11), I know He will do great things in his timing. ☀️☝🏻️
Isaiah 40:28-31 says “Don’t you know? Haven’t you heard? The eternal God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, doesn’t grow tired or become weary. His understanding is beyond reach. He gives strength to those who grow tired and increases the strength of those who are weak. Even young people grow tired and become weary, and young men will stumble and fall. Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in the Lord will be renewed. They will soar on wings like eagles. They will run and won’t become weary. They will walk and won’t grow tired.”
