+ @thelostfae | charlie & sunny
“I’ve already told you I think this is a bad idea right?” She had. Four times. Sunny liked to cover all her bases where terrible ideas were concerned, that way when they inevitably blew up in everyone’s faces, she could claim she had technically tried to stop them. This, however, was more or less a pleasantry, as it didn’t really stop her from going along with the whole thing. Sue her--she was curious, and had a vested interest in making sure Charlie made it back in one piece.

Was it Margarethe
she was too nice
( thelostfae ) from ❤
the home is s t a l e. hallways, once full of laughter, now echo only with the click of her heels on the hardwood. everywhere there is a tantalizing hope they might return. her mother’s china, now long dry in the sink. her siblings’ shoes, removed in a rush for--- ( for what? it had all seemed so inconsequential then. a chess tournament here, a study group there, and now NOWHERE. she aches to know what had so ignited them. ) and left tangled by the stairs.
NO--- she couldn’t be there any longer. gloves, hat, purse. she’s locking the door and halfway to kensington gardens before she even realizes where she’s headed, but anything is better than the stillness of that house. there’s a particular bench they used to share, back when everything was simple, and she’s drawn to it as always. except, e x c e p t this time she’s not the only one there.
“ oh! so sorry; i didn’t mean to interrupt. ” she fumbles for words. how long has it been since she’s spoken to another person? a week ?? “ or at least i hope i’m not interrupting. would you mind terribly if i joined you? this is my favorite spot, too. ”
