Hi! I'm hoping you can help me track down a fic. It's called The Safest Place in America (Is In Your Arms) by Miin. I've really been wanting to reread it, but my cloud backups accidentally got deleted a while back and it's not on AO3 anymore. I'm hoping maybe one of your followers has a backup they would share with me. Thanks!

Hey!  I loved Miin’s stories, too.  They’re very compelling.  I’m sorry to hear about your Cloud  mishap. :(  I know that Miin deleted her stories from Ao3.  I also remember her starting to repost some.  I’m not sure what her preference is regarding sharing her stories now and I”m not in touch with her anymore.

Can anyone put @thelostself in touch with Miin?  Does anyone know if her ShieldShock stories are still available with her permission?

EDITED to add:  I just looked up Miin and found that 2 yrs ago she asked that her fics not be passed around anymore. :(

Honestly, I love Claudia Black in most things though (stargate, obviously, and I can’t imagine anyone else voicing morrigan in DA). Now, I’m gonna end up rewatching Farscape for the 50th time. It’s nice when people you followed from one fandom like other ones you love, especially old on obscure ones!

Farscape is so rewatchable no matter how much time passes.  Aeryn’s arc is just so complex and good, and Claudia’s whole vibe and husky voice are drop dead sexy without even trying.  Her character’s basically like a female Sandor Clegane in some ways.  I guess I totally have a type LOL.

Could it be from a fictional language, one constructed for a movie or tv show? Perhaps even a book? That could explain why the auto translators couldn’t find it.

Either that or I’m accidentally randomly back on my conlang bullshit 😹. The funny thing is that this stuff always happens when I haven’t really been consuming things for awhile that would bring this on, which makes it much harder to place.
