Seeing pro-borts talking about methotrexate being denied to cancer patients because it can be used for abortions (no idea if that's true).

I have been prescribed methotrexate as an immune suppressant in the past. It is poison, it is literally derived from mustard gas. No one should be on that poison.

I honestly don't know much about methotrexate and wasn't familiar with it prior to this debate about it, despite having known several people who have gone through cancer treatment.

Since people have started bringing it up with me I have seen that it's a very dangerous medicine that can have very serious, even life-threatening side effects and really should only be used with cancer if there are no other treatments because yeah, it's literally poison and you treat cancer with poison. The only thing I've seen in regards to it being used for abortions is it's sometimes prescribed for ectopic pregnancies, which is not abortion.

So maybe the people saying Roe v Wade is the reason people are having trouble getting this medicine should take a second look because perhaps because it's such a dangerous medicine not all pharmacies are going to just hand it over and it has nothing to do with Roe v Wade.

But pro-aborts aren't really known for looking into anything to find out the truth once they find a way to blame it on the overturning of Roe.
