How do you think the warehouses Shimmer like .. lives in are decorated / if they are ? Cause I feel like they have the most Male Living Spaces ass places with like . A single couch, maybe a table and graffiti everywhere for decoration+ maybe some DIY crafts
Ah this depends and you might’ve confused them with someone else here in that in later chapters they live alone in an abandoned house no one’s lived in for years BUT it’s honestly pretty neatly decorated because lyssa hangs out there too so there’s like . At least some decorations and probably bean bags. But outside of that I know shimmer would be sooo a mattresses on the floor and fuck all else type of guy . In chapter one they do actually live in a real owned by someone place and this links in to nysia’s place in plot in that he owns/runs the thing. He just makes sure people who might not be safe to go anywhere else (shimmer after killing a guy) or who need to keep stuff on the down low have a nice-ish place to stay where he’s willing to accept cash payments and no real names. But he’s also very low tolerance on fighting and causing trouble so it’s not like he’d help someone like eris with the knowledge of who xe is but it’s more like . People like (for example) pluto, abaddon, basil (if shes nice), diamond maybe after he dies. People who for various reasons would be considered too much of outsiders or threatening in some way to stay somewhere else. Wow I went off on a tangent here. All that to say if shimmer said ‘im going to sleep on a mattress on the floor’ nysia would go ‘what the hell are you paying me rent for kid at least get a bed frame whats wrong with you.’
