About what you said on the new DW episode, everybody complains about The Doctor/Clara not only because we've had enough of The Doctor and his female companion being romantizised (in Moffat's era, I have no problem with Doctor/Rose because it was a new thing on the show and it was adorable), another reason is that Capaldi himself doesn't want Clara and his Doctor to fall in love, and I agree. A for Jenny and Vastra, they are a badass interspecies couple, how can someone not love them?
I agree with that, I wasn't talking about Capaldi's Doctor and Clara's relationship. I was specifically talking about The Doctor and Rose (which is the only time the Doctor's fallen in love with a human girl in my opinion). I always hear people complaining about Rose and that love story with the Doctor, but at that time it was something fresh, never done before and truly beautiful. In Moffat's era there was a sense of companions falling in love/having a crush on the Doctor (both Amy and Clara) and that became boring and tiring.
I absolutely support this new direction Doctor Who is going on, where the flirting and the falling in love thing just stops. We had enough of that, it's time for something new.
As for Jenny and Vastra, I don't like them as characters, I think they are a bit boring, but I have nothing against their relationship. I'm glad people enjoy that. I just thought it was funny that now people are PRO interspecies relationships and still complain about Rose Tyler and the Doctor falling in love with her because she was just an ordinary human girl :P
