This is a gift to @themalfoymanner and @icanhelpyouthere. They are one of those beautiful and inspiring tumblr-relationships and their love for each other is so great I can feel it through a screen. They are also very very talented writers who live and breathe for their characters and they’re so incredibly nice that they want to thank everyone who supports their relationship.

But I thought I’d write you this little songfic instead, as a thank you for introducing me to Drarry and Linny and multiply my obsession with the whole fandom even more =)

Inspired by “This Is What You Came For” by Calvin Harris and Rihanna I wrote a poem about Luna who visits one of Ginnys games.

Lightning strikes every time she moves

 And everybody’s watching her

 But she’s looking at you.

 Thunder roars every time she casts

 And everybody’s loving her

 Worlds explode every time she wins

Lol probably. It's so exhausting, honestly. Just let us be! And it actually makes me ship Drarry, Linny, and Ginsy even more passionately. A world with Drarry and Ginsy is particularly fun- look how much they both love their Slytherins!

Drarry and Ginsy together is a lot of fun :D Especially when one couple gets together first and sets the other two up

Yes, omg, exactly!!! Never mind that most of us ship Ginny with Luna and want her to be happy too. I've actually never seen a Drarry shipper hate on Ginny on tumblr and it's in *very* few fics (and mostly older fics at that). It's such a baffling mindset to me? And shipping canon het ships doesn't mean you respect female characters more than slash/femslash shippers???

Tbh I think they just throw in buzz words to try and disguise the fact that they’re self-important haters :S

Omg, I've noticed this too!!! The most vehement anti-Drarry shippers who go out of their way to attack it (and Draco and Slytherins in general) seem to be Hinny shippers. Which- why? What's their damage?

I’ve seen Hinny shippers claim Drarry is full of Ginny bashing. I’m not denying that exists, but most fics I read now have Ginny as a positive character if she’s included. But apparently breaking up Harry and Ginny is misogynistic because ‘like omg you’re tearing Ginny apart from her true love for the sake of a BOY’. (Actual argument I’ve seen certain Hinny shippers use :S)

👻 ghost stories: what books are you reading, how are they? Ahh, I’ve just read (and am about to reread because I want more) the All For the Games triology by Nora Sakavic, and I can’t recommend it enough! I’m obsessed. Canon queer relationships, diverse and difficult characters, pulse-racing sport and plot, so much heartbreak and hope, and a beautiful makeshift family of torn people who find wholeness in their bond. 

🐱 black cat: what pets do you have/want? I have two incredible kitties who are my life, and pretty soon, I’ll also get to live with my girlfriend’s beautiful two cats and I am so excited to start working on winning their affections!  

👐 cold hands: anyone to hold them? :) My girlfriend… Y o u. (and my fluffy fat cats will lay on them in the mean time)
