Themantlingdark stories

I have realised that themantlingdark has deleted their account on AO3. I am devastated, as I loved their stories and would frequently go back to read them. If anyone has copies of their stories, could you please send them to me, so I can save them? Cheers.

Where is themantlingdark ?

I just realized that themantlingdark account doesn’t exist anymore ! Ao3 account comprised.

I just really hope they’re alright and we hear from them in the future.

I just found out that one of my favorite fic writers ever deleted everything. :( 

ETA: The author in question is Themantlingdark. “Boys” was the most amazing fanfic I have ever read. I never had a story mess with my perception like that before. I loved it. I loved all their work-- beautiful words, beautiful ideas, simply gorgeous writing. Whenever there was an update from this author, I felt my spirits lift. I don’t know what happened, they had their reasons, but I feel the loss.

These Days is a gorgeously lyrical MCU story focussing Steve and Bucky’s reunion, by @themantlingdark. Without giving too much away, Steve and Bucky are reunited at the conclusion of CA:TWS and run away from S.H.I.E.L.D. together. This is a strongly character-driven story, featuring Thor, Natasha and a couple of other guests. Slightly AU from later MCU films, and definitely won’t be compliant with CA:CW. Do yourself a favour and check it out.

I dunno why, But whenever I'm not feeling a strong urge to read fic about any particular ship, and I want to read something fluffy and comforting, I often turn to Thorki fic. Especially Lodestar by themantlingdark.

Summary: Thor and Loki are promised to each other at birth. It's twenty years before they meet. For Loki, it feels longer.

(18k, Explicit, Jotun!Loki, Starvation, Arranged marriage, Hurt/Comfort, Farbauti/Frigga)

Thoughts: This is a really sweet slow build and it's a n interesting perspective on how Laufey would treat his son if he'd never gone to Asgard. It's also really sweet Hurt/Comfort as Loki recovers.
