I can't help but wonder what the Bouroughs of NYC would be doing to celebrate Mamdani's victory in N.K. Jemisin's The City We Became duology. I know she stopped writing it because things were A Lot TM with politics and life in general (totally valid). But I do miss my chaotic quintet. (Not including Staten Island because girl, you got a ways to go before I'll miss you. Love to hate you though.) And the secret other one but... #spoilers

Perelandra is my favorite in the series and The Space Trilogy is one of my favorite book series! Also, C.S. Lewis is usually my favorite author. So it was an easy choice for the banner when I recently redecorated.

Taehyun in this au made me SOB I could never get over his character. I think him and hyuka (now see them burn in fire) have it out for breaking my heart the hardest as second male leads in @wildernessuntothemselves works. At least one of them is still alive I guess (but missing an eye 😃😃😃). I love soobin (lover=lo$er) and yeonjun (jealousy jelaousy) but they didn’t pain my heart as much. SOBBING. I haven’t ranted enough about these works on my tumblr so I’m going to start doing so 🫡

I was telling one of my coworkers about how my wife and I are reading the new Toby Daye book together (I read a few chapters, she listens to the audiobook, we discuss, repeat) and it’s tons of fun.

And she asked, oh I don’t know that series, is it good?

And unlocked an unskippable cut scene of explaining all the reasons it’s my favorite.

So anyway, she’s getting Rosemary and Rue out from the library, and I’m continuing the good work of turning everyone I know into a @seananmcguire fan!
