Devyn: I apparently came to the island at the wrong time

Devyn: The cantine is closed.

Devyn: And I'm starving...

Devyn: Please tell me you have good leftovers I can munch on?

Wrapping her knees to her chest, Devyn stayed hidden in the coves, the waves wrapping around her as she stared out into the ocean. It was one thing in her life that was constant, it never lied nor betrayed her. That and of course Dex. Though there was one person she trusted to do the same, someone that she was beginning to miss dearly. The only time they were separated for this long was when he left her in Australia to become a pirate and even though it was years then, it was starting to feel like years now without her brother beside her. 

After hearing what happened at the coves, Devyn left Dex at home knowing it was better safe than sorry if it was to happen again but still, her love for the water was never dying. It was easy to hear someone approach her, grabbing the knife in her boot, she calmed when she realized it was only Matt. She couldn’t lie, he was becoming a dear friend to her and she was starting to enjoy his company more and more. Telling him what was on his mind, she couldn’t help but smile at his offer. 

Normally she would decline but she couldn’t lie, having some human company was more than welcomed. “I’d like that, thanks.” She said as she stood to her feet.

Coming to the party a little later than everyone else, Gabe went over to the bar and leaned against the counter scanning over the crowds of people. Laughing and having a genuinely good time. Listening to the music, he started to tap his feet, Gabe was too far gone in his head but what pulled him out was a familiar voice, one that he hasn’t heard in a while. Smiling at Matt, he laughed at his question. 

“And take you away from all other’s who swoon after you?” He teased. “Of course I’ll dance with you!”

Day: November 3, 2019 - Sunday                                                        __________

There were only a few things that Ada gets excited about. The holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas especially - her birthday...sometimes. Though today, was the most exciting because it was finally time for Matthew to say goodbye to his damn Viking beard. A day Adalicia was excited but she knows Matt wasn’t. Which again, she understands but not having a bird’s nest attached to your face also wasn’t a good way to hide it. 

Needless to say, she woke up in a good mood. Throwing some pants and a long sleeve shirt on, she tossed her hair up in a messy bun and went to go look for him. “Peter... You better not be hiding from me.” When she did finally find him, she couldn’t help but to smile and cross her arms. “Finally ready to say goodbye to that thing?”

“ is there anyone special in your life ?”

“Special? Aren’t all royals special? We’re supposed to be like the highest class after all. But if you’re talking about people being special because I actually like them. My siblings. The Italians. And that one pirate that used to have a beard.”

The princess looked at the pirate and shook her head, was he really thinking she’d do it? Letting out a small sigh she run a hand through her hair. “You’d really think I’d be dumb enough to run away? You don’t know me at all”

             𝐍𝐈𝐊𝐈𝐓𝐀 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐀 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓 isolated from the party, she took a pocket mirror to take a look at the small cut she had on her left brow. It was all covered up in good make-up, her left eye it wasn't the excess of make-up, people could notice her black eye. There's this exhaustion from the trip back home, in Russia. She needed to do some duties over there, and she only back because she promised Lili, they'd stay the New Years together, and she wouldn't disappoint her little sister, more than she already is doing currently. It was an emergency trip in which required her duties there. But she let the things a bit settled, so she could enjoy the isle with Lili. This is when she realized there's a familiar dude right in front of her, and her index finger was circling around her small cut in her brow. ❛ What do you want from me, Mattsy? ❜
