decided to redo my old “fansite” theme turpentine, which was just a minor edit of the original base code... this is a little more original, but not by much

i might do a few more theme redesigns but??? im not 100% on which themes specifically. Ghmmm

April 07, 2013 - Theme Redesign

Like I mentioned before in my last post, I actually followed through with my intentions. Initially though, I saw my theme conversion as a 6 month process giving me enough leeway for any ideas, but I decided instead of postponing it. I would take a few days, think about certain things I'd like to change and changed them. Instead of taking the entire project as a whole. I just confronted one issue at a time. It made it that much more easier, because I just thought to myself, "Oh the sidebar and content, should be in a wrapper, it's more professional. Oh I hate the color scheme...etc" and before I knew it, I did a pretty drastic redesign if I do say so myself.

Things I changed:

Relocated sidebar

I still have somethings I need to tidy up, specifically the coding, aesthetically I have it looking like I'd like too. However, when it comes to the back-end of the theme, there are definitely things I could change to make them more stream line and "by the book." Some of the things, I coded aren't necessarily "right" when it comes to coding and that is why I want to go back and rewrite it properly. That's it for now, like I stated before any new changes will be posted on the log.
