one of my favorite ‘morning reads’ recently

touches on a lot of discomforts I have with how we compose ourselves online (mostly tumblr cause I don’t experience this on IG)

I’m someone whose frequently expressed my annoyance at youth with my friends (mostly teenagehood), but I work to make sure (and I’m not always successful at it) that those feelings don’t become attacks in the face of teens themselves. cause harm is harm even if they irk me that’s not on them to deal with

& a lot of the energy folks put to hating the presence of minors and verbally attacking minors on here in the same breath as a racist or Zionist actually baffles me. Y’all don’t hear yourselves??

but I know a lot of that is white supremacy culture (inability to engage in fruitful conflict, tryna police people, and desiring control) in action and can’t be solved without larger reflection. The type of reflection @drdemonprince often asks us to do.
