The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) sets an example for increasing green cover in the populous city like Amritsar. They collect tones of plastic bottles from garbage bins & streets and use them for planting herbs with the help of Punjab Pollution Control Board. When the nature is suffocating with the deadly plastic, they reused plastic bottles in one of the best possible way to overcome from Environmental Degradation.
