He'd been poking at her for hours and Hedwig sighed and sat there like a good patient before she just batted his hand away. "I am not a bloody experiment, Remus. I don't know how this happened but this isn't exactly helping figure it out." She snapped lightly and pressed her lips together as she sat on the edge of the table in the burrow.

"Maybe I'm supposed to end up like this. Did you ever think of that?" She'd had enough of the werewolf and Sirius muttering about how this wasn't possible let alone should they trust her.
