I LOVE to connect math and literacy whenever possible! This week, Happy Haunting is our theme unit. We added to the F for fluency on our CAFE menu by reading Ten Timid Ghosts (a subtraction story and one of my favorites!) with expression, and used it as inspiration during Daily Five for some spooky Work on Writing.
