Hello sorry to be a bother but do you know of any good care sheets for Toad Head Agama-Phrynocephalus mystaceus? I've only found one care sheet thus far, but I'm assuming there's gotta be more than one out there.

You’re not a bother at all, but I’ve got no idea on the care for them! I’ve never actually seen one in captivity- you’ll probably have a better time of it on an agama forum or something. Good luck!

Most likely, does yours like to show off it’s food too? Mugen will sometimes carry her fuzzy around for 2 or 3 minutes till she decides to eat it.

that's really cute lol Mars doesn't do that. she starts wolfing them down immediately after striking.

I’ve only had her for around three months, she’s calmed down quite a bit from the first times I tried handling her. She’s never tried to bite me but she musks, poops, huffs and puffs quite a bit. Not to mention run away.

yeah it sucks. my other snake had a pooping problem too and she's always trying her hardest to get away from me. i'm still trying to calm that one down, even though i've had her longer than my Black. Some are just better at socializing than others, i guess. I'm sure she'll continue to calm down as long as you keep being persistent... and once she realizes that you're not an actual threat lol they mellow out when they get older don't they?

I wish my little one would cooperate that well…she hates being handled.

aw how long have you had your little buddy? Mars and i actually had issues for a while. she was bitey, always trying to eat my fingers, and i got nervous about handling her. I stopped trying and left her alone for a little bit and then started taking her out just for a couple minutes maybe once or twice a week. now she seems to love coming out and climbing all over me. took a few months though.
