Here we have it folks, the first episode of: HIRUKO AND KYOSHIKA GAMING! Let's see what these two ladies are playing today!
"Come, Lady Hiruko! Let us play one match against each other!" Kyoshika smiled as she handed the controller over to Hiruko. She looked it over in her hands as if it were a foreign object to her, then drifted back to the screen. Several colorful manga characters filled the screen, all arranged in an overwhelming row.
"Asking me out of the blue is rather unfair, is it not?" Hiruko scoffed. "Let me familiarize myself with the control scheme, first. Is there a training mode?"
"Very well... Let me provide you a training dummy." Kyoshika fiddled with her own controller, removing herself from play. Hiruko would be fighting against an AI opponent; Kyoshika set it to the easiest difficulty in the game.
"... Alright." Hiruko smiled lightly, buttons and analog sticks clicking one after the other in a satisfying rhythm. "I think I've gotten the hang of it. Shall we play?" She led the two back to the character select menu for a proper PvP duel. "Don't go easy on me, Kyoshika~."
"Verily, Lady Hiruko. If it's a challenge you seek... Then I shall best you with my own skill!" Kyoshika selected her own team of characters, based on her favorites from the manga. She wouldn't lose!
"Lady Hiruko, your Frieza game is most incredible!" Kyoshika puffed as she tried her best to avoid the series of projectiles flung her way. Jumping to avoid the spinning energy disks, before she knew it, her opponent had dashed forward and set her up to get hit unawares, putting her in a disadvantage stage getting comboed. "I can hardly keep up!"
"He's rather peculiar-looking, isn't he? Is he supposed to be a lizard?" Hiruko remarked placidly as her chubby digits seemed to move on her own, pulverizing the old man on the screen with ruthless efficiency. "I mean, that wouldn't exactly explain the bulbous purple forehead, I suppose."
"Grrrr... how did you become so... competent! Lady Hiruko, you aren't cheating, are you?" She cursed under her breath, trying to escape the combo with as rapid of a response as she could muster. How was she put on the back foot so quickly?
"Oh, be a good sport, Kyoshika. It's unbecoming of you to see you like this~." Hiruko switched fighters, an off screen assailant suddenly arriving to pummel Kyoshika's character out of nowhere! Master Roshi hit the invisible wall like a basketball against the backboard. "You aren't going easy on me, are you?"
"Of course not!" Kyoshika yelled. "I was simply... unfamiliar with your game! Let us make this a best of 3!"
