There’s a bunch of style guides on here, as well as a fairly in-depth list of differentiation on every character, based on studio/director drawing preference. I learned a lot just reading through all of these for fun one day.

For me, I don’t try to emulate any one ‘style’, instead I pick and choose my favorite thing about each one. The perfect blend of draftsmanship and visual appeal of Minoru Maeda, the powerful solidity of Tadayoshi Yamamuro, the extreme push of expressions and poses of Keisuke Masunaga, to name a few.

i’m a lowkey apple fanboy (although the company can be scummy as hell at times) so I’m actually excited about it, shame I won’t be able to get it because of my current phone plan

i think getting rid of the headphone jack is a good move but they should’ve spent a little more money into a more sophisticated adapter, or at least sell them for waaay cheaper

I don’t think the problem is with selling the airpods for $160, I think the problem is they should not have just given you a dongle and said “lol here you go”. They should’ve come up with a better solution. Everyone gets upset at the airpods, when honestly they aren’t the problem.

I will say though that it surprised me they even included a dongle. People say all the time “steve jobs would never allow this”, when the irony is that based on his kind of thinking, if he was married to the idea, I doubt he would’ve even included the dongle. He would’ve been more “This is what you need. You’re welcome.”

Plus, the fricking camera. That is literally a 700 dollar camera in that phone (which ironically costs around that much now). Not just because of the quality (a phone camera isn’t going to be repalcing SLRs anytime soon), but because it shoots in 240fps, 4k and that telephoto lens on the 7 plus is mindblowing (I think the software lens blur they’re adding is gonna be glitchy and weird as hell)

In the end the entire conference was a win for apple, but everyone needs to stop overreacting about the headphone jack

Wait YOH YOSHINARI actually WANTED. A reboot?? I thought those small animations were just some fanart from him I never knew he WANTED ONE??? UGH why can't we get the anime MLAATR reboot we deserve itd be so COOL

Yeah I know right! It’d be so cool. I read somewhere that he wanted to make an anime reboot back when he was at Gainax. I don’t actually have a source on that, I just remember reading it somewhere. I think the animations are probably just unrelated fanarts though cause I doubt the idea got any farther than just being proposed. I would have loved to see what the fights would have looked like though. I’m a huge sucker for dynamic action sequences with cartoony art styles and Yoshinari would be perfect for it! I want this reboot to happen but it never will, I NEED IT!

haaa thank you! :’Didk maybe 10? I wanted to be an animator since like 4 so I always sought out afternoon lessons and artist groups I could attend. I knew doodling at home isn’t gonna cut it for me so I made sure I’m in an environment where I’m forced to spend a good chunk of time doing studies. Obviously as a dumbass kid most of it didn’t stick with me until like 14 so I learned a good deal of the traditional stuff in high-school.However I always sucked at painting and backgrounds and I’ve yet to find the motivation to practice them on a regular basis. -v-

yeah i hate it.... i just really like saitama’s dopey baby voice in japanese, and his english VA sounds like hes tryin to do a critikal impression cus someone said “sound bored” even though saitama isnt always bored. i dont have much against the other voices but saitama is what makes opm, and i hate that he sounds so forced.

 even if he is meant to be a character that is constantly bored, its not good acting to try to force yourself to sound as monotone as possible...... yeah anyway !

I need to know EVERYTHING about Trainer!Nerri. What's their fave type? Team comp? Trainer goals (yknow like Contests, Breeder, Pokemon Master, Collector, etc)? Where do they live (do they do what the anime does and travel and camp or actually have a house)? What level Pokemon would they have? Um...will they battle me???? And will they hug me too

they’re still very much in the works (especially since...ygotta dive right the fuck into pokemon to get Everything Just Right yknow...and hoo boy I gotta prepare for THAT again) BUT

they would probably lean towards dark and poison types (with the occasional dragon and fairy?) but have no real preference. they work rehabilitating injured or abused pokemon before releasing back into the wild or finding them loving homes (also occasionally fostering) and mostly just want to stick to doing that (while travelling every now and then to update their pokedex)! 

NOW they live in alola with voskka (no clue which town cause iunno em yet and want to play the new game before deciding first) but i THINK they’ll be from snowpoint originally? they have a house they share with voskka but often camps about as well 

they’re big on battling for fun so their pokemon aren’t SUPER high level-- about mid-range? 50-60? with maybe like...one level 100 (tyranitar....). but DEFINITELY WANT TO BATTLE EVERYONE (and hug everyone too. obvs <3 )
