Kimbley’s explanation fit more than he would ever understand. All he could do is nod in reply at the other alchemist’s words. Despite what he had heard about Kimbley, he seemed a much more intelligent man than most he had encountered in his life. Anthony figured that must be why he is considered so dangerous, even if he is on the military’s side, for now.
"Yes, I do hope in the future I find a way to reverse the situation I’ve gotten myself into. Although I feel as though your aid might not be sufficient enough," he stated and adjusted his glasses.
The other man still made him just as uneasy as usual. Anthony did not like the look in the alchemist’s eye. He was nearly certain that Kimbley wouldn’t be able to kill him. He’d simply have to deal with the pain of his attempt. ”As…experienced as you are in killing, I fear my situation is beyond any solution you may come up with.”
"You never know until you try," Kimbley counter-argued, though really, he had no true interest in helping this man with his plight, and no doubt the other knew that as well.
But he had to admit he was very curious to see this man's abilities, even if he was unable to completely destroy him. It had been a while since he had gotten to use his alchemy, and though he would gain no pleasure in killing someone who wasn't struggling, it was always a smart idea to flex his abilities when he had the chance.
