Working on my first knit scarf from a pattern. My other scarves have all been very basic. It's going to be a braided cowl. Pattern from the awesome Purl Soho!

Current project. I don't have a very good track record for finishing cross stitch projects in a timely manner...the one I just finished up took me 6 years and it was simple.
We're moving at the end of the month and while packing I decided it would be better to finish projects and give them away than to just repack my stash in a box. This is for my MIL. Her mother passed away before I met my husband but she came to me with her mother's yarn stash and ask that I make a blanket for her. I combined the yarn from my MIL with some of my own stash and made this colorful creation. I was skeptical how it would turn out at first but I think it looks pretty awesome. Oh, and MIL loves it. Win!
More pictures of the large afghan I finished a couple weeks ago. Just posted in my shop!
My husband graciously modeled my new infinity scarf for my Etsy shop! The metallic part of the thread is multi-colored but it was hard to capture in a photo.
Finally finished! The afghan is shown on a Queen sized bed. Now I need to figure out how to block this monster.
