Do you believe in science?
Naturally. People have come to me from different realms, one of them once had a device in which they could talk to another person, or, rather, ‘call’ them, no matter how far away. It wasn’t magic, it was science, a mechanism with which to contact another person without magic. Here, we would have to cast a spell. Magic is very formulaic, like science is in other realms, to my understanding. Magic isn’t waving your arm and wishing for something; it’s diagrams, charts, incantations, thoughts, text, movement, history—all of these need to be learned and understood to produce a result. I know how magic works, therefore I’m a wizard. Some know how science works and they are considered scientists. To me, that device used to ‘call’ people is magic, because I don’t understand it.
It’s magic here. It’s called science elsewhere. The two are the same.
