To my Young Black Girls.... My Daughters, Nieces, cousins, sisters.... I vow to be a protector to keep you guarded from the evils of this World to the best of my ability. I vow to make sure you are taught how a Man should respect you and will not tolerate anything less than that. I vow to educate you on the powerful contributions Women have made to the World so that no misogynistic society will ever be able to make you feel less than what you are destined to be. I vow to teach you how powerful and Influential your ancestors were and how wonderful your history, heritage and culture is. I vow to carve out a space for you to be great and explore your creative spirit in a safe and non judgmental environment. And I vow to fight for the resources to empower you to be our future Doctors, lawyers, Executives, President's, Mother's, etc. You all are more than great and have a divine future ahead of you. May the Creator CONTINUE to guide, protect, empower and use you for his divine plan.
