The Murdered House by Pierre Magnan- it took me a while, but I've finally completed it. A really good read, excellent mystery novel. In an age where you can see most plot twists coming a sentence into a story, this is quite refreshing. I'm still guessing at the ending 🙈 The unique writing style adds edge to the mystery. This is an original French novel that has been translated which might be what makes this book all the better. Though I'm certain much has been lost in translation (I really wish I knew more languages). It was originally published in 1984 which just proves that newer isn't always better.
