I was talking to her this morning. Why would I make fun of your mom, she is a nice lady.

Anyway, it's not her party. It's a friend's. It'll probably be one of those couples dinners things.

Nah, I don't know. It might be one of those couple parties, when you're expected to either go by yourself, or bring your husband or wife...

Don't get me wrong, you're cool, but I don't want to be the weirdo bringing a high schooler. Besides I think it might be more of a family thing.

Come join me. We love people over the holidays, well I love people over for the holidays. Everyone else is off with their lover doing something for Christmas, so I am alone. Bring the dogs too, I love animals.

I do have a party in a bit... Totally forgot about it.

But maybe I can hang out until then. No rules on having to pick just one thing to go to.
