I love comm college. The profs are nice, they care, and they’re accessible in and out of the classroom. In Winter term, I spent 2-3 hrs/wk outside of class talking about writing and films with my scriptwriting prof. Tuition money well-spent, IMO.

there definitely were profs i loved and still talk to! but omg i had a super conservative history prof who advised me not to go to berkeley when he found that i got in because they would brainwash me with their leftist radical ideas and another prof who refused to call me jenny because it was an anglo name so insisted on calling me by my legal name??? shit was weird

Thanks for doing the stream tonight at 11; I'm not able to stream it when it airs because I'm in school at that time. Nice to know I won't have to avoid Tumblr (spoilers!) for the next three weeks. xox

I had a Magnavox that quit working after 4 months. They didn’t want to honor the warranty until I threatened to tell everyone that their company was shit.

I've heard that Magnavox isn't a good brand.  This telly is 10 yrs old so I suppose it's due to die.  It did come back to life later on so I delayed the television buying.  Crossing fingers it keeps working.

Haha, I've definitely added this one to this list of 'ficlets I liked so much that I want to expand on them', but it's got to go underneath the His Girl Friday AU (for which I've got a multi-chapter fic up next on the docket, after Ex Astris and A Madness Shared by Two are finished) and the Donna and Rose as uni roommates AU.
