absolutely fascinated by the idea of a leafs fan naming a pet after the bruins like i would love to study your mom

like she's told me that i guess when she got the cat, her friend was over that day and they had a leafs v bruins game playing in the background while they hung out, and she hadn't named him yet so her friend was like "bruin is a cool word. name him bruin." and then she just. Did.
and that cat proceeded to live for fuckin TWENTY-TWO YEARS. he was an absolute tank, smart as hell, and super sweet. i don't have any pictures on hand at the moment, unfortunately, but you just gotta picture like.. a BEHEMOTH of a black cat who looked like a mob boss. he was a very bearish cat. the name bruin ended up suiting him quite well, all things considered.
And Yet. Leafs Household. i dunno.
