1st of May celebration 🎉 in Havana, Cuba 🇨🇺! Promoting tolerance, equality, right for our own individuality and basic human rights! Lots of colors, laugh, conga dancers and positive vibes. Love Havana’s Lgbt 🏳️🌈 pride march, because it’s a great show like a carnaval and such a joyful gathering. Event is organized already for 11 years by @cenesex_habana and led by Mariela Castro Espin who is a Cuban human rights activist, sociologist, Cenesex director and a politician. Thanks to Mariela’s work and awareness raising, Cuban society is much more tolerant and open than ever before and also law enforcement changed. You can be openly in a same sex relationship, you won’t be put in a prison as before or chased... With a new president in Cuba, there’s a hope that laws can be finally changed as well to support this equal rights movement and same sex marriages will be legalized.
