THE NORTHERN CO. “GRAPEVINE” Filmed/Edited: Ryan Flores

Without masses of publicity and promotion, the release of Ryan Flores’ “Grapevine” ravaged social media last week, hyping up our community of plywood enthusiasts in only 10 minutes.

Within seconds of starting, Dylan Drew goes in, flaunting his abstract trick-list in a demonstration of pure, organic style - a theme that runs fluently throughout the cast of this video.

Amazingly considered soundtrack, that’s undeniably complimentary towards the accompanying visuals. It’s brilliant to see BadBadNotGood being pushed in more and more skate videos too. They’re such a rad band that, from experience, are great to get a session going. They suit the flowing pace of East Coast skateboarding perfectly.

The two primary companies involved in this video release recently became part of a new distribution company named LoveChildInc. This newly formed bi-coastal alliance will distribute The Northern Co., The Killing Floor, Scum Co & Sons and Politic’s boards across the states, as well as PFC’s unflatspottable wheels.

Be sure to hit up The Palomino Club for any of these products this side of the pond.

As well as featuring a portion of The Northern Company's more than capable team, the sharply agile movements of Tobin Valverde are brought to our attention, this video being his induction into the family. Any fans of Read's cinematography or faced-paced New York footage in general will instantly connect with above. Strong recommendations from me.
