The Nowhere Man by Gregg Hurwitz is Book 2 of his Orphan X series. This has quickly turned into a new, favorite character and series. “After a mission, Evan is surprised by a group of shotgun wielding mercenaries. He is taken and held in a chateau in an unknown location. How can he escape? Why is he being held? What happens when his captor realizes who he is?” If you need a book filled with action this is it. And Evan is an interesting character - struggling with using his skills and wanting a normal existence and relationships. Hurwitz has an easy-to-read style and that makes this a fast-paced read. I like when an author doesn’t repeat the successful formula of a previous book. Because now you have no idea where the story is going. An exceptionally creepy bad guy here. And another great read from Hurwitz.
