She doesn't know him all that well, her time at the actual court when it came to the monarchy wasn't all that hands on, even though she did consider Evelyn a friend and she loved a party. But she knows he has been through a great deal here, that in the end, he'd lost not just Elmira, but perhaps Evelyn, too. He’s professional, he is involved in their politics, he has a good head on his shoulders. “Have you found anything?” Brows raised, he sips from the pomegranate mimosa in his hand where he’s leaned back in his chair, legs crossed at the ankle. It’s a serious topic, he should approach it more formally, but Romulus thinks it's best to humanize himself a little, thinks it’s more productive in establishing trust than waltzing in and being irate. “I have to say, I’m particularly interested in the Juno bloodline. You’ve done wonderfully with the mess you were given upon arriving in Rome.” The casualties they’d suffered seemed a little suspicious at first, but there hadn’t been anything to his knowledge that’d plagued the bloodline since the hand of the queen had stepped in.

And he liked Theo, she fell into that category of person he found himself unable to not be fond of. There was a slyness to her that amused him and her artwork was top notch. She’d touched up the thistle under his left collarbone but he’d never gotten a piece that was one hundred percent hers. Inkubus wasn’t really a place he hung around all that often unless it was to pick Hippolyta up to walk home or go from there to somewhere else. It was her business and they’d gone on about the tattoo thing for years, he figured it was best not to spend too much time in the place where the tattoo machine was present. But he knew her staff well enough to at least be able to do small talk. Today though he did sort of have a reason to be there though, he needed a second opinion. “Got a moment?” Theo, the shifter, he’d caught her between client’s it would seem. “I have an idea and we know Hippolyta is going to just tell me to do it before I change my mind, but I figure another opinion from someone who isn’t just my hype man is probably a good thing.” @jaguarsandoval​
