In the corner of the Herbology classroom, a mandrake sits on a stool next to the door. Its eyes burn with envy as it watches you hang a festive wreath on the wall.
"Oh, a wreath," it snaps suddenly, voice sharp and biting. "Holly, mistletoe - you love decorating with plants, don't you? But me? I'm left to sit here, ignored! Why not hang me on the door, huh? Afraid I'll outshine your precious greenery?"
What do you do?
Theo grins at the disgruntled mandrake, rolling her eyes humorously at it's grumpy little frown. “Ignore you? How could I do that?” Under her breath she adds, "Since you've made that nearly impossible..."
She slides over to the worktable where the mandrake is making its protests known, her grin turning sweeter and sweeter by the second as she gets closer to her target.
"You know what I would truly love this holiday season? A silent night."
She gingerly takes a bit of the holiday wrapping paper and places it around the mandrake’s mouth to effectively stop its grumbling. She raises a brow, however, as it gives a few more muffled sounds of displeasure.
“What? Not festive enough?”
She adds a large red bow on top.
