I wonder if folks would be willing to come up w/ a rough headcanon for Shades's tattoos (how many, what kind, likely locations, etc)? It might be fun, & it would certainly help fic writers, I think. I noticed when I was writing a scene with him shirtless that I just have no clue what kind of tats he'd have! Given his taste/background/access... what would he choose? are the type/quality of prison tats going to be different? could we use some of the ones rossi has irl or ones from previous charas?
YES LET’S (and not just because it gives me an excellent excuse to look up shirtless pics of Theo). Also, PS my grasp on left and right is questionable, so if I flip something, sorry!
So, here’s what Theo has personally:
An Asian script on his right inner bicep and another type of script under his left pectoral. (larger size)
A quote on his left wrist, and what looks like a name (Marie?) and a date on his right wrist. (larger version)
What looks like the Virgin Mary(?) on his right forearm.
Now for Juice Ortiz, Theo’s character in Sons of Anarchy:
The head tats are the more recognizable of Juice’s ink, but he also has a grim reaper on his left forearm, a screaming skull on his right forearm, and whatever THIS is on his right bicep. (larger)
In later seasons, Juice got two skulls on his chest, with SON and SHINE under them.
