Cold Weather Ramblings
My life is a series of tetris-ed to do lists crammed onto journal pages—a tactic to organize my brain, to fend off adhd as if words on a page could keep my brain from switch-boarding or panicking.
Switch-boarding: a verb To connect cables from one caller—one topic— to another that seemingly has no connection— to jump from point A to point G with a twist, pull, and plug.
Shaking in a kitchen with no feeling and ringing ears, exposing myself to the cold to feel alive to calm my thoughts but it only sped them up.
Help Me Catch My Breath.
Plug me in to the topic that will shiver the cold right out of my system.
