Day 31: Theodora Tocco, first wife of Constantine Dragaš Palaiologos. Theodora was married to Constantine XI (the future and last Byzantine emperor) as part of a peace agreement between the empire and the despotate of Epirus. The future emperor was warned not to marry her, I believe under the pretense that she was a spy, but he did anyway. Theodora died giving birth to a stillborn daughter only a year later.
