I’ve posted this picture before, but have found a much nicer scan of it. Louise Brooks and her brother Theodore. I found the chapter in Barry Paris’ biography of Louise, about the relationship between her and her brother, to be one of the saddest and most poignant sections of the book.
Another new one to me. This is Louise Brooks as a child sitting next to her mother Myra, who is bouncing little brother Theo on her ankle. Found this at the ‘Documentary of a Lost Girl’ website. Stop by and give them some money for their kickstarter campaign, will you? The project looks fascinating, and I look forward to its completion.
