I won’t get anything done today if you keep this up.” Bran sighed as he finally got Yolene to hope into his arms so he could get off the bus.  He didn’t come into this part of town often, but the large park just a little bit away was perfect for his daughter Yolene to play in. Noticing the small diner, Bran pointed at it.

“What do you think, are we going to have pancakes?”

Yolene yelled an excited ‘yes daddy’ into his ear before he went over and pushed the door open, finding a booth to the side at the window, where he could keep an eye on Yolene if she started wandering about.

Evelyn woke up slowly, her head still dizzy from all of the alcohol she downed the night before. Of course she blacked out, this was Vegas, and she was with Chace. What a combination. They were always known for going off the rails. She stared at the others sleeping body for a moment before finally sitting up, pushing her hair back with both hands. It was then that she noticed a shining silver glint that caught her eye. She brought her hands back down again and stared with wide eyes at the image in front of her. “Chace -- Chace! Wake the fuck up!” The brunette demanded, gently shoving the male to get him up faster. “Is this a fucking engagement ring? Do you have one? Tell me you do not fucking have one.”
